Geotechnical Observations offers geotechnical services for a wide range of civil engineering problems. Our services include fieldwork, laboratory testing, geotechnical consulting, research projects and the teaching of soil mechanics.

Field Measurements We procure, install, read and report on a wide range of field instrumentation. inclinometers (manual and in-place) extensometers piezometers dataloggers surveys (manual and automated)
	Laboratory Testing In our laboratory we undertake routine and advanced testing of soils.  classification tests  logging (to BS5930)  digital photographs  suction measurements  Gmax using bender elements
We can provide data from field instrumentation or laboratory testing in electronic format (on CD or via email) or as a paper report.

Consulting, Research and Education

Our personnel are experienced in the investigation of a wide range of geotechnical and structural problems, for which we can provide consulting advice on the use of field instrumentation and laboratory testing. We also write interpretive reports on the results from field instrumentation and laboratory testing.
